Family Involvement
We strongly encourage the involvement of family members in the lives of our residents!Visits to your loved ones are always welcomed during daytime hours.
In addition we have created the Family Council Meetings which meet on a monthly basis as a primary communication and information source for the family.
This council affords friends and relatives an opportunity to advocate and affect change for their loved ones. In addition it gives families an avenue to support and socialize together. This council features guest speakers from our staff and the community. Information is not just limited to residential life in the nursing home, as we also enlighten the families about information from the community regarding their financial, medical and educational resources.
